Ducks Unlimited Canada and The Boreal Initiative September 15, 2014

In September 2014, James Palmer helped facilitate the move of one of Canada’s oldest and largest conservation organizations. Ducks Unlimited Canada and The Boreal Initiative now occupy newly transformed space at 350 Sparks Street, Ottawa. No other broker was involved. The landlord is Morguard represented by Sandy Bozak.

The Northern Shopper August 11, 2014

In May 2014 James listed a small industrial condo unit at 2755 Fenton Road and promptly leased it to The Northern Shopper, a firm which shops for supplies for northern communities and then ships them to the Arctic.

Syndesi Identification Services August 2, 2014

In August 2014, Syndesi Identification Services, a security firm which validates identity, moved to unit 2 at 203 Colonnade Road South in a transaction which expands the operation to allow visitors to receive its services in person. The move was facilitated by James Palmer acting for the tenant. The landlord was David Development.

1807 St Joseph Boulevard July 30, 2014

In late July, an old customer of James elected to acquire more real estate for its portfolio by buying a commercial condominium at 1807 St Joseph Boulevard. The buyer is taking on the tenant in this small investment.  Marcie Nash of Locke Real Estate represented the seller.

John Fluevog Boots and Shoes July 11, 2014

On July 1, Canada Day, John Fluevog Boots and Shoes opened its new store at 61 William Street near the corner of George. The House of Uncommons for this unique award-winning retailer opened after a long and determined search by James Palmer resulting in a private and confidential transaction with the owner of what was Lou’s Boot Corner.

Dr. John Russel July 11, 2014

In July 2014. James Palmer helped Dr. John Russel sell his medical condominium suite at 1637 Woodroffe Avenue to a surgeon. The property had been on the market with another broker for about two years. James introduced the property to the buyer who elected, who elected to use another broker, Bill Edelson of Royal Lepage, who with Palmer’s cooperation completed the sale.

CBCI Telecom July 11, 2014

In July 2014, James Palmer helped CBCI Telecom firm up its move to 8-10 Hearst in Kanata. CBCI is Canada’s leader in Visual Communications and now occupies completely new interior space with a loading dock for shipping its products- making life for its engineers and other staff who occupy the offices more comfortable, accessible and efficient. Bridgeport represented the landlord in this transaction, which was a lynchpin in seeing the project at Hearst Way leased in full.

Dairy Queen July 5, 2014

In July 2014, James Palmer helped to sell the site occupied by Dairy Queen and a vacant old Tim Horton’s store for a Toronto investor. Michael Paoletti of Royal Lepage acted for the buyers. The location, with its acre of property, is now for lease with James Palmer acting as the leasing agent for the new owners.

1680 Woodward Avenue May 8, 2014

In May 2014 James listed the space of Dalmen Windows at 1680 Woodward Avenue for sublease and saw it sublet for the full remaining term.

119 Ross Avenue April 1, 2014

The Ottawa Shambala Centre moved into new premises at 119 Ross Avenue in the spring of 2014. James Palmer represented this Buddhist group. Phil Zunder and Jerry Belanger of Decathlon represented the landlord.
